  • Can I visit your facility before my dog stays?

Yes, we encourage you to visit, and you are more than welcome to bring your dog with you.

  • Are vaccinations required?

Your dog should be current on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. We also require your dog to be on flea medication or wear a flea collar.

  • Do you require my dog to be neutered or spayed?

No. We do not require your dog to be spayed or neutered.

  • What are your drop off and pick up times?

We are open 7 days a week.

4:00 PM -6:30 PM eastern time

(times may vary just a little by seasons)

  • How big are your dog runs?

We have large 12 x 12 ft and 10 x 15 ft dog runs so your dog will have plenty of room to move around.

  • Does my dog sleep outside?

No. All dogs sleep indoors in a secure facility.  For boarding and training, the dogs are outside in large runs during the day and at night come inside and sleep in size appropriate crates.

  • Can my dog get sick and what happens if they do?

Like anywhere, where there are groups of dogs, we cannot guarantee that your dog will not get sick. Just like humans, many dogs are most contagious before showing symptoms. Kennel cough and gastroenteritis are very common among dogs and we take every precaution to clean and disinfect on a daily basis. If we see anything that concerns us we will contact you or your vet if you are unavailable.

  • What do I need to bring for boarding and or training?

We need a copy of your dogs current vaccination records, which can be emailed to us at maringocreekfarm@gmail.com. We also ask that you bring their food and anything you would like in their crates such as favorite toy, blanket or bed.

  • Will my dog benefit from your board and train program?

Besides manners and being able to enjoy walking your dog, it is a confidence course. Your dog will get used to other people and a new place which will help them their entire life, coping with stressful situations and strengthening your bond.

  • What is the best age for training?

The best age for training your dog  is 4 to 8 months. We welcome dogs of all ages.

  • Do you offer a guarantee for training?

Dogs are not machines. They are living beings that have reasons for their actions, and that is why we offer free classes after your dog is trained, to support you and your dog  for success.

  • Will my dog forget me?

No! In all our time, we have not seen a dog that has forgotten their owner.
